Our Gower grass-fed rolled chuck is a beautifully marbled cut, sourced from cattle raised on nutrient-rich pastures. This slow-grown, naturally fed beef is high in Omega-3s, vitamins, and essential minerals, delivering exceptional flavour and tenderness. Whether fresh or frozen, the meat retains its integrity—our freezing process locks in peak freshness and nutrients at the time of butchery.
Freezing on cut ensures that when defrosted, the chuck remains as juicy and flavourful as fresh. This method also supports small-scale farmers, allowing them to supply locally with consistent quality.
Defrosting Recommendation:
Defrost slowly in the fridge for 24-48 hours for the best texture and taste. If a quicker defrost is needed, submerge in cold water, changing the water every 30 minutes. Avoid room temperature defrosting to prevent moisture loss and maintain top quality.
