Postance Poultry began as a lifelong dream. From a young age, our founder was passionate about farming, even though he didn’t come from an agricultural background. After persuading his parents to let him keep a small flock of hens, this passion quickly grew. By the time he was finishing school, his small venture had expanded to nearly 100 hens, with successful sales of pullets for egg production.

In 2011, he and his wife took the next big step, purchasing their first home together, which included access to nearby land. Within the first year, Postance Poultry was born, with mobile sheds housing flocks of Hubbard chickens and Aylesbury ducks. Since then, our commitment to raising high-quality, pasture-raised, and truly free-range poultry has been the cornerstone of our work.

From the rearing of chicks to the humane processing of each bird, we go to great lengths to ensure the highest standards of health and welfare. Although not certified organic, our poultry is raised in wide-open spaces, living in harmony with nature, foraging freely, and experiencing a truly natural lifestyle. This care and dedication result in delicious, high-quality chicken and turkey that stand out in flavor and texture.
